Anne Phung Nguyen

I am Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in gorgeous Orange County California with my wonderful husband JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. People know me best through my Instagram page @annephung. This is where I share my tale of highs, lows, and everything in between. My parents took me to America in the year 1990 when I was only one and a half years old. I would not be able to share my story to you now had my parents not worked to the max and sacrifice. As a child, I knew that I could have a shot to have a brighter future, I worked hard to impress them and was a shrewd entrepreneur in the direction of success. I thought my life would be a certain way: graduate from college, get an executive position, be married, and then start with a family. While I believed this was the definition of the ideal life, reality had other strategies. My corporate job in 2013 was one I had a fear of. Status and money were not what I needed to feel happy. I believed that I was living a solitary life to earn a paycheck. As I navigated my way towards a new direction in my career, I found I was destined to work as personal trainer. I was a fan of exercise, I loved being around people and I enjoy helping others. My business was founded in the year 2014. My company is celebrating its seven-year anniversary in this calendar year. It is rare to find Asian women working in this industry. It is my goal to be a positive influencer in the industry to provide quality coaching to empower others to become a healthier and happier person by establishing an environment that is sustainable and meets their individual goals and needs. My goal is for me to help others chase their desires and lead the lives they've always wished for. When my professional career began to take off, I had one of the greatest losses in my life - my mom's passing away. Her battle for 8 years with Scleroderma is over, and she lies in Heaven. She will always remain in my thoughts and my mind. It is possible to learn from the world, even if we may not be able to spot it in the moment. In so many ways, the loss of my mother changed me. It is my belief that she gave me another opportunity to experience her loss. When she passed away at the age of 87 on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was her time to start her next life and I was given a second chance of living a happy, fulfilled and fulfilling life. In my 30's I am alive and conscious I truly feel that I live my life now and not merely existing like I did in the past. My experiences are shared with you so that I can talk about my experience and thoughts. This will help you realize that you're not on your own. You're capable of achieving anything you want to. Therapy is necessary and is normal. Health is the best asset. Only one life is yours. I wish you to enjoy it to the max.
