Allie Clifton
Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster with Spectrum Sports Net, is at the end of her fifth year with the Los Angeles Lakers. Allie Clifton is an Emmy award-winning sportscaster with more than ten years' expertise in sideline reporting as well as sports journalistic work. In addition, she played in the NBA for more than 10 seasons. Prior to the move to Spectrum Sports Net, Allie has been a reporter on the sidelines for FOX Sports Ohio's Cleveland Cavaliers telecasts, sideline reporter for the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers), sports reporter on 13 ABC Action News (WTVG) and color analyst as well as sideline reporter for high school, college basketball, volleyball and track & field, on the Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN). Clifton is a native of Ohio native who graduated with qualifications in sports analysis, journalism and liberal studies from The University of Toledo. Her basketball career continued to be successful throughout her time at UT after a successful academic career in high school, with her the school's very first league championship team. She was a three-time captain, helping the team to the Mid-American Conference (MAC) West Division winning title in 2010. Clifton is no familiar with The Q as she played there in during the MAC Tournament during her four seasons playing at Toledo.
